Honoring Our Independence-With a Twist

4th of July is merely days away and in the spirit of patriotism,  I could write about The American Dream of Homeownership being alive and well – yesterday, the New York Times published an article stating “nearly nine in 10 Americans say homeownership is an important part of the American Dream” according to a poll conducted with CBS News- or about some of the shining stars in recently reported real estate numbers-Case-Shiller released a report this week stating 13 of 20 metro areas tracked showed monthly gains.  This is welcome news before the impending holiday.

You can’t go a day without reading about ‘new’ developments in real estate.  Whether it is ‘new’ technology, ‘new’ marketing, ‘new’ regulation that will impact realtors or homebuyers/sellers or ‘new’ data on the state of the market, real estate is constantly on the receiving end of ‘new’ news.  While all that is ‘new’ in real estate can be overwhelming, you can take comfort in the fact that there is an exception- and that is enjoying a ‘new’ or contemporary space.
