A recent NYC Networking Event invited agents from the Tri-State area to share sales tactics, get to know each other and refer business to each of their local communities. The second William Raveis Real Estate has held this year broadened the experience for agents, 4,000 strong, and provided a more comprehensive and dynamic environment in which to network with each other.
Agents asked for a more structured and decisive set of workshops. William Raveis Real Estate had them participate in focus groups & brainstorming sessions led by hand-picked real estate professionals from our 120 offices.
After an introduction and welcome from Chris Raveis, president of Sales for William Raveis Real Estate, Mortgage and Insurance, agents mingled over a lunch provided by the University Club of New York and were split into focus groups led by team leaders to ice-break and share sales tactics.
Mike Loftus, from the NYC William Raveis office says, “I believe one of our greatest strengths as a firm is our network. It’s definitely more powerful than we even know, but we are tapping into it here at the networking event.”
Mike then shared his best sales tactic, which is just to get to know his fellow broker in different towns. “Denae Montesi (also of NYC Raveis) and I travel once a week to a different office to make connections. We’ve made great friends and also have received two listings from agents we met.”
“Events like this one are shaping how our agents interact and grow their businesses,” says Chris Raveis, “we are lucky to have access to such a vast network and with our agents’ enthusiasm, the advantages are endless.”
Inter-company networking events for William Raveis Real Estate are held quarterly.
