In October 2015, as compared to October 2014, Unit Sales* rose 11.0% in Connecticut, 12.0% in New York**, 17.6% in Manhattan, 9.2% in Brooklyn, 13.5% in Rhode Island, 13.5% in Vermont and 11.2% in New Hampshire. Meanwhile, Sales Price rose 0.6% in Massachusetts and 4.4% in Maine.

In February 2015, as compared to February 2014, Unit Sales* rose 0.4% in Connecticut, 1.5% in New York**, 21.5% in Manhattan, 7.4% in Rhode Island, 5.5% in Vermont, 2.2% in New Hampshire and 8.5% in Maine. Meanwhile, Average Sales Price increased 32.2% in Brooklyn and 6.8% in Massachusetts.

Current Market Conditions: November 2014

In November 2014, as compared to November 2013, Average Sales Price* continued to rise across the Northeast. Prices rose 1.3% in Connecticut, 20.5% in Manhattan, 14.2% in Brooklyn, 5.7% in Massachusetts, 6.8% in Westchester County, New York, 5.3% in Rhode Island and 5.2% in New Hampshire.  Additionally, the state of Vermont saw a 7.4% increase in New Listings, year-over-year, while Maine saw a 7.0% increase in Unit Sales.

In March 2014, as compared to March 2013, Average Sales Price* continued to rise throughout the Northeast, with prices rising 8.7% in Connecticut, 13.7% in Massachusetts, 23.1% in Cape Cod and 19.5% in Westchester County, New York. Additionally, Months of Supply fell in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Westchester County.

Local Housing Data: January 2014

In January 2014, as compared to January 2013, Average Sales Price* rose consistently throughout the Northeast, with Connecticut, Massachusetts and Westchester County seeing 24.2%, 15.2% and 27.4% increases, respectively. However, as the Spring market waits, Unit Sales slowed in Connecticut and Massachusetts, while Westchester County saw a dramatic increase of 47.7%.
