William Raveis Marketing: What drew you into the real estate industry?
Leslie Clarke: Twelve years ago, my background in construction, renovation and sales drew me to the industry. When Beverly Walsh introduced me to William Raveis 10 years ago, I knew it was a fit. They showered me with support and resources and made me feel at home while I found others’ homes.
WRM: Where did you grow up?
LC: I grew up in Toledo, OH and now live on the river with my husband, Richard. We are empty-nesters!
WRM: Name one celebrity, dead or alive, who you would like to sell a home to.
LC: The truth is, I am the person that can’t pick a celebrity out of any crowd!
WRM: Name five things people don’t know about you.
LC: My three sons all went to the same college, Washington University in St. Louis. They wrote an article about us in the school paper! I have personally renovated or built seven houses. I have played tennis with the same group of women for over fifteen years! I love to stay active. I never leave home without band aids, gum and Tylenol. My kids know my purse is always stocked! I just got my boating license and am obsessed!
WRM: What is your most used feature on Raveis365? What is the most used app on your phone?
LC: On Raveis365, I would have to say Moxi. It allows me to personalize every listing presentation. My favorite app is the Housing Newsletter App because it allows me access to quick stats to share with my clients.
WRM: What is the best advice you’ve received from loved ones?
LC: Always work hard and stay positive!
WRM: If you weren’t in real estate, what would be your dream job?
LC: If I weren’t with William Raveis, I would be designing homes with my architect-husband Rick!
WRM: What local activities are you involved with?
LC: As I said before, I love to stay active. In addition to tennis, I love spinning at Joyride, and working out with my trainer. On nice Saturdays, Rick and I like to take the boat out to Cockenoe Island, drop the anchor, and take a swim. Most importantly, I engage with my community by attending events that hold meaning to my friends and clients!
WRM: Your day cannot begin without _____?
LC: …two lattes served to me, in bed, by my husband Rick. I’m a lucky woman!
