In honor of International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month we want to highlight the bold, powerful, and talented women of William Raveis who elevate and shape the success of our company. This month is a chance to recognize, uplift and celebrate women we find inspiring. We have handpicked some influential women to continue our annual #WomenAtRaveis series. We want to thank them for their hard work and dedication to making our company better every day. Here is our first feature to kickoff #WomenAtRaveis of 2022–Deborah Lucci of The Deborah Lucci Team!

How long have you worked in real estate and with Raveis? How did you first start?
I started in real estate 23 years ago. I filled out an AOL survey to help me find out what type of career would be a fit for my personality and the only thing that came up was real estate. I started at Prudential Howe and Doherty and we were bought out by Raveis and I believe it was about 8 years ago.
What sets Raveis apart as a company? How would you describe the culture?
I think that Raveis hires excellent agents. I think the members of the Raveis family are hands on. I think Raveis has a very high-end image which helps get high-end listings.
What do you love about real estate and why? What excites you about the business?
I love helping people get to their final goal. I like training new agents. I love a great bidding war. I love that this business is always changing.

Do you have a mantra that you follow for your business, real estate, or in general?
I think that your word and reputation are extremely important in business.
Describe a typical day in the life.
I wake up three mornings a week at 3:45am and I drive from Boston into Tewksbury to work out for two hours. I shower at the gym and then start my workday at 8:30am. I have a great deal of Zoom meetings with clients, agents and admin. I am presenting a market analysis, talking to agents about their business or coming up with new ideas with the leadership team on how to do things better.
What opportunities has working for Raveis given you?
Teams teams teams. My life changed drastically when I formed a team and Raveis gave me that opportunity. The previous company did not have a team structure.

What are your greatest strengths?
Trying to change with how real estate changes. Trying to remain open to new ideas. Trying new things. Willing to work hard.
What is the key to your success?
I have always worked extremely hard. I also have a very good reputation. I am always open to learning new things.
What does Raveis mean to you?
Family business!!!

Have you had to overcome any obstacles? How did Raveis help you?
I use Moxi Presents on every market analysis I do. I send the market analysis through BombBomb so it may not register through Moxi. During this pandemic it would have been impossible to present without it. I also find Moxi very easy to present over a Zoom call.
What’s your best advice for someone new to the industry?
Be ready to work hard, join a team with a team leader and agents that are willing to share. Again be ready to work hard.
