We are finishing our #WomenAtRaveis series with two more remarkable women: Event Coordinator, Alessandra DiFortunato and Executive Assistant to Chris Raveis, Jessica Hunt! Although Women’s History Month is coming to an end, our appreciation for 𝒘𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏 𝒂𝒕 𝑹𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒊𝒔 is something we have yearlong.
P.S. If you see these ladies at our annual Event at Mohegan Sun this week give them a shout out because they have put in countless hours behind the scenes.

How long have you worked with Raveis? How did you first start? What attracted you to Raveis?
I’ve been working at Raveis for four years now and I started as an even coordinator for the William Raveis Charitable Fund. What attracted me to Raveis is the family business.

What sets Raveis apart as a company? How would you describe the culture?
It’s a second family. Everyone at Raveis helps each other out. True definition of a team.
Do you have a mantra that you follow for your business, real estate, or in general?
Take each day as an opportunity to learn something new.
What opportunities has working for Raveis given you?
Working at Raveis has really given me the opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and feel confident in the day-to-day decisions when I’m planning an event.
What is the key to your success?
Positive attitude. No matter how tough it gets just keep going.

How long have you worked in real estate and with Raveis? How did you first start?
Coming to Raveis was actually my first time in the real estate industry. I started in one of our branch offices as an Administrative Manager and quickly got the opportunity to meet with Chris Raveis and come work for him at HQ. Kind of a whirlwind…but real estate is like that. I’ve been here now for coming up on 4 years.
What sets Raveis apart as a company? How would you describe the culture?
There is a definitely a ‘team spirit’ here that I haven’t seen at many other companies. We are a family; we all help each other out and work toward the same common goal. I’ve met some of the best people I know while working at Raveis. I think the brand attracts a good type of person.

What do you love about real estate and why? What excites you about the business?
There’s never a dull moment. Each day is different, this industry keeps you on your toes. I like to be busy, so it fits for me.
Describe a typical day in the life.
I have two sons at home, so my days start getting them (and myself) ready, and out the door early for school/daycare. Then into the office to see what the day brings. We have some very exciting initiatives right now with the CMA contest and The Event coming up, so the days have been full and very BUSY. After work, it’s homework, dinner and if I can stay awake watching a show with my husband.
What is the key to your success?
Work hard, be kind, be honest. And try to have some fun along the way.
