William Raveis Equestrian Specialists share their passion and real estate expertise at this year’s Equine Affaire.
Over the weekend of November 10-13, 2022, corner Booth #3004 was abuzz with Raveis Equestrian Specialists ready to share their passion and real estate knowledge with other horse enthusiasts.
William Raveis Equestrian is a longtime participant at Equine Affaire, North America’s premier equine exhibition held annually at the Big E fairgrounds in West Springfield, Massachusetts. This year, over two dozen Raveis agents and mortgage bankers came out to meet the community. Visitors stopped by for a chance to win a bamboo cutting board carved with our beautiful Raveis Equestrian logo and talk with our agents about buying, selling, or financing properties.
A star attraction was Stonewall Farm, the largest privately-owned equestrian property in Westchester County, New York. Listed by Equine Specialists, Hope Mazzola and Nikki McMann who were also on hand for the event, the magnificent 740-acre property is divided into 18 parcels of broad lawns, fenced paddocks, equestrian training facilities, barns, run-in sheds, and guest and staff quarters dedicated to the breeding and training of thoroughbred racehorses.
Middlefield agent, Lori Vogel contributes her passion for equestrian life and equine estates by volunteering to bring furniture, tables, and other items for the team. This year, Vogel shared her leather and metal goods with the community. New Canaan agent and Equestrian Specialist, Sky Minckler is another avid equestrian volunteer who enjoys all things equestrian. Sky shared, “Every year, there are more people I meet and connect with…there’s a feeling similar to a family reunion at the Equine Affaire”.
William Raveis Mortgage joined in the fun for this event. Scott Gannon, Regional VP of Mortgage in Florida and Massachusetts, attended for the first time and was impressed by the turnout as well as our agents. Gannon remarked, “After being here for two days, it is so clear why we are the leader in the equestrian arena”. Gannon was joined by fellow Raveis Mortgage professionals, Jim Kane and Rick Cannavaro, in helping agents and their clients with Equestrian mortgage and loan options.
Our booth doubled in size and we tripled the number of volunteers from the prior year. The Raveis team approach gives our agents endless opportunities to grow their business and contribute to the ongoing success of Raveis Equestrian. From kicks and giggles, to trots and neighs, our Equestrian Specialists are actively changing the footprint of equestrian real estate from the shores of Maine to the stables of Florida.
